Every potential project begins with a conversation. If both parties feel it’s a good fit so far we will book an on site consultation. This consultation is a complimentary 30-60 minutes depending on project size, and it gives us the opportunity to meet, discuss and gain a better understanding of your project goals and budget. It’s important that you feel our creative ideas inspire you, and also that both parties feel there’s good synergy and connection. Below is a summary of questions we aim to answer:

– What are your needs, including your ‘must haves’ and ‘would likes’

– What is your budget

– What is your desired timeframe for the project

– What is your lifestyle and preferences

After the initial consultation, your Little Star Design House representative will put together a design proposal for you to review. It will include all the deliverables required to have your project fully designed.

If the proposal is agreeable to you then great! We’ll get the ball rolling!

The size and scope and project will dictate what steps are required to get you to build phase.

Our lead designer from Little Star Design House will take you step by step through the Design Phase. They will assist, advise and navigate you through functional floor plan layouts, help with product and material selections and bring together all the moving parts into one cohesive plan. Once you’re happy with all the decisions, we will develop final construction drawings, and if required, deal with permit submissions and strata approvals if required.

Once the design is finalised, our estimator takes up the reins. Their job is to build a step by step, detailed scope of work which will include all the tasks to be completed and the materials needed. We shop around to vendors and subtrades to get the best pricing, while still maintaining the highest quality workmanship. Once our initial quote is issued, there may be the need to meet and look at possible cost saving options. We’re committed to working with you to balance the design with the budget.

Hurray! The design, the scope and the price have been agreed upon! We can schedule a start date!  You will have access to our online client portal, BuilderTrend. This is where you can view your project calendar, decline or approve change orders, and oversee the finances

Your project manager will meet with you regularly throughout the construction process to review work and address any concerns you may have. No matter how well organised a project is, there are a variety of unforeseen site problems that can arise. What matters most is how efficiently the problems are solved. Your peace of mind is of paramount importance to us.

When the work is done, we schedule and manage any final inspections, and ensure that all documentation and warranties are in order.

Because we enjoy forming lasting relationships with our clients, and to ensure you are 100% satisfied, we offer follow up visits to give you the peace of mind that we can address any additional needs or concerns you may have with your home.

All products come with their respective manufacturers’ warranties and our workmanship has a standard one year warranty.
